Help Wanted: Bookkeeper
We are seeking an organizer with at least 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper or inventory controller.
The right person would be highly organized and well informed. You should be careful, detail oriented and able to follow through with various tasks. Checking yourself and others work for errors is required. Your skills in writing, speaking and computer use will extend into the photography and retail worlds, so you will need to learn the vocabulary and concepts.
Your tasks would include submitting credits and rebates to vendors, reconciling packing slips to invoices, keeping up with vendor price changes, updating sales people and completing applications. Finding errors, looking for overcharges, reconciling payments, preparing bills for payment, generating department reports and contributing to employee meetings are important parts of the job.
Job requirements: You do not have to be a photographer, been published or have any experience as a photo finisher; but it could help understand the nature of the concepts of this business. We need an details oriented, organized problem solver.
This position starts as a part-time bookkeeper. The right person will grow into this position taking it to full time. Starting schedule is variable and flexible. Future full time position would offer some benefits
You must have:
1- The ability to analyze documents to find errors and correct mistakes.
2- The desire to help make this business grow.
3-At least 3 years experience in bookkeeping or inventory management.
4-Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
5-A High degree of comfort with Intuit products like QuickBooks products, Excel and Google Docs/Office.
