We were often confronted by the old silent movies that are silent. Yes, we have some cheesy or not so cheesy music dubbed over it. But the real loss is the narration of what is happening or has happened, to who and how are they connected to us. What were the inside jokes, the traits or affects of those in the movies. This is something that I was confronted with when we had our old movies copied. What was the story. Like watching a movie or football game with the sound off – there is definitely more when the narrator is speaking.

We will take that and overdub it onto your movies so instead of music you would rather not listen too, you can have your personalized family commentary. Don’t we all talk during our home movies, tells what was going on or about to happen. What will your grand kids say when they see this, what was it about Mom or Dad at that age that is just like them. Without you speaking much of the context is lost, only half of the storey is transmitted. What is lost is as important as the visuals.
