Basic Nikon – Learn to use your camera from the inside out. This class will teach you the Nikon terminology, buttons, dials and menus that allow you to take control of the quality of the pictures. Photographer Michael Lamb will discuss the following areas: major camera icons, buttons and dials, understanding your cameras menus and custom functions, focusing, & metering options, using the histograms and highlights for correct exposure, choosing and setting white balance, basic pop-up flash and accessory flash functions, choosing lenses, accessories and more. This class content will apply exclusively to Canon DSLR cameras though the examples shown will be from mid and entry level cameras like the Nikon 5100 and 3100 cameras. Class runs about 2 hours. Please bring your camera and be prepared to take notes.
